Google Drawings and My New Etsy Store
Hi! I'm back. Some things have happened since we last spoke. I'm going to talk about two of them right now.
#1: I did some drawing for Google earlier last year. They put them on their site and the look like:
http://www.googleinsidesearch.com/captions.html#/captions/86
and http://www.googleinsidesearch.com/captions.html#/captions/87
and http://www.googleinsidesearch.com/captions.html#/captions/88.
And there are a bunch of other great ones on there, by the likes of Minty Lewis, Damien Jay, and Calvin Wong.
#2: I opened an Etsy shop. It's http://www.etsy.com/shop/joeyalison. Right now there are just a few needle-felted creatures I made. But soon, there will be a vast and sundry assortment of fun things for you to buy or look at.

Papercutter #16
The new issue of Papercutter was born and now (or very soon) you can read it! It's got a 20 page story by me (which is why I was not returning your phone calls or emails this winter. seriously.) called "Professor Pearson" which is dark and sad and funny. You'll be laughing, but also sobbing. Maybe you'll get the hiccups. But the other fantastic part is that it has a story by Liz Prince, who is one of my favorites ever; and it has a story by Alexis Frederick-Frost, who I confess I'm not that familiar with, but whose story, I'm happy to report, is great.
[okay, maybe the links aren't up on Greg's site yet to buy it, but they will be soon. the issue will also be available at my upcoming reading in Berkeley - details to come!]
